In the high season, fresh fish dishes with fried potatoes are prepared on the north side of the little cottage. Delicious! My favorites here are the fish soup (ingredients depending on the season and market situation) and the homemade herring salad. Very few fish are caught on site; the operator gets most of his fish from wholesalers.

Today we ate herring rolls and fried fish. The rolls were delicious and the queuing was worth it! The staff is nice and the prices ok!

Delicious fish in a still warm roll, that's how it should be. Fried fish very good, breading a touch too greasy, still tasty. The fried herring was also felt to be of high quality by the one and a half year old gourmet son. We are here almost every day now. In addition to the delicious rolls, this is thanks to the remarkable friendliness of a young employee / owner, which you rarely experience in this form. Keep it up!

Delicious freshly smoked fish by the sea.

The most delicious smoked fish on Usedom is available for us at Hengstler's in Kölpinsee.

Fish rolls (fried fish & butterfish) were unfortunately not satisfactory. The service was very friendly but the size of the bread roll and especially the portion of fish, which reminded more of carpaccio in the butterfish, was unfortunately disproportionate. The taste could be improved and the price / performance ratio was not good.

Top quality. You do not just write fish smokehouse .. you are one too. Here a fish roll on the hand is a MUST.

On 31.8.2019 we took halibut and half an eel, smoked. The eel was dry & hard. Very disappointing & not in order for so much money! Since we have been fishing ourselves for many years & have also smoked eels, I can express a realistic, honest opinion here & express how annoying we were at home ... when we wanted to taste the eel. The halibut, however, was very tender and delicious.

The best VP ever 😍👌 very delicious great fish sandwiches were from super nice people ... big thank you for your support on the 55km "Dein-Ostseeweg-Usedom", on the way back the water was already in my mouth shortly before we arrived and then there's even warm fish boulette in a bun 😁👌

After a nice beach walk and of course so a visit is definitely recommended. Inside it is very comfortably furnished and there are also some seats. Tables are ready outside. Whether baked fish, smoked fish or fried herring, it all tastes super delicious. Either straight to the bun or you take something home with you. The staff was always very friendly and in a good mood during our visits. Prices are completely fine, I can only recommend the location and will be back.
